Special Education
The Special Education Programme at HIRAYA is dedicated to supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disabilities, Learning Difficulties, Intellectual Challenges, and other developmental needs. We believe that every child deserves an educational approach tailored to how they learn, ensuring progress at their own pace in a supportive and structured environment.
A key strength of our Special Education service is the Individualised Education Plan (IEP).
We place high importance on creating a comprehensive, personalised IEP for each child, outlining clear academic, behavioural, communication, and developmental goals. The IEP is developed collaboratively by special educators, therapists, and parents—ensuring that every learning experience is purposeful, measurable, and aligned with the child’s needs.
Our Special Education Programme Includes:
- Individualised Education Plan (IEP): A customised, goal-driven learning plan designed to address each child’s specific needs, monitor progress, and ensure structured development across all domains.
- Readiness Programme: Building foundational learning, attention, pre-academic, and classroom-adaptive skills to prepare children for successful school participation.
- Remedial Education: Targeted support for reading, writing, spelling, numeracy, and academic concepts for children with learning disabilities or learning difficulties.
- Pre-Vocational Skill Training: Supporting older children in developing practical, daily living, and basic work-related skills for greater independence.
Our educators use a blend of structured teaching, multi-sensory learning, behaviour support
strategies, and compassionate guidance to help every child progress academically, socially, and
emotionally. With consistent collaboration between families and professionals, we ensure a
meaningful and empowering learning journey for each child.
